Creamy Brown Rice
1 1/2 cups water 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk 1 tablespoon margarine or butter 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup brown rice Honey Peach Topping or sugarless jamIn medium saucepan, bring water, milk, margarine and salt to a boil. Stir in rice and bring to a boil again. Cook, covered, 45 to 50 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Spoon into bowls and top with a generous spoonful of Honey Peach Topping. Serves 4 |
