Glazed London Broil

1 or 2 flank steaks
1 tablespoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of salad oil
2 teaspoons of tenderizer
2 tablespoons of sherry or vinegar
1 tablespoon of honey or corn syrup
1 teaspoon of Accent
1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Pierce steak with fork on both sides. Combine ingredients; pour over steak. Let stand 2 or 3 hours; turn occasionally. Broil or grill, allowing 4 minutes per side. Slice in thin diagonal slices against grain.
