1/2 teaspoon of white sugar
Dash of hot chili oil
Thicken 1 tablespoon cornstarch and cold water. |

4 tablespoons of heavy soy sauce
1 cup of dry sherry
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of ginger, finely minced
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 stick cinnamon
8 whole cloves
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Put cinnamon and cloves in cheesecloth. Thicken 2 tablespoons cornstarch and cold water. |
