| Onion Raisin Sauce
1 tablespoon of canola oil 1 onion, sliced thin tablespoon of wine vinegar 1/4 cup of raisins 1/4 cup of rice bran 1/2 cup of evaporated milk, mixed with 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth pepper |

In a saucepan heat the oil. Once hot, add onion and stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the vinegar, raisins, and a couple of tablespoons of water. Cover and simmer gently for 10 to 12 minutes, or until onions are very soft. Be sure to stir every now and then to make sure the onions are not sticking, if so, add a tablespoon or two of water. Stir in the rice bran, add milk and broth and bring it to a boil. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes |
