| Pork & Macaroni Bake
1 pound of ground pork 1/2 cup of chopped onion 1/2 clove garlic, minced 2 tablespoons of fat one 8 ounce can of tomato sauce 2 cups of grated sharp cheese one 6 ounce can of tomato paste one 3 ounce can of mushrooms 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper one 7 ounce package of macaroni |

Cook the pork, onion and garlic in hot fat until onion is golden. Add the tomato sauce and paste, mushrooms and seasonings. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cook the macaroni. Alternate layers of macaroni, cheese and meat in greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle top with cheese. Bake in moderate oven 350ºF. for 45 minutes. Serves 8 | |
