| Broccoli Casserole
1 stewed chicken, shredded, or 2 cans of chicken 1 package of mild cheddar cheese 3 packages of frozen broccoli 2 cans of sliced mushrooms or 2 cans of mushroom soup and once can of sliced mushrooms |

Stew the chicken and shred, or use canned. In a double boiler make cream sauce, not too thin, add cheddar cheese and stir until melted, add mushrooms. If you use mushroom soup, just warm for cream sauce with enough water to consistency of sauce and add cheese and one can of mushrooms. Cook the frozen broccoli until slightly tender. Place the chicken, then broccoli and cover with sauce, then repeat in layers in greased casserole. Top with cheddar cheese and bake in 350ºF. oven until warmed and bubbling, about 30 - 40 minutes. | |
