| OKLAHOMA PEANUT BRITTLE
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of water
1 tablespoon of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of corn syrup
2 1/2 cups of raw peanuts
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of soda |

Cook sugar, syrup and water until mixture spins a thread. Then add raw peanuts. Cook until golden brown. Add butter, vanilla, salt and soda. Mix and pour out on two large cookie sheets that have been buttered. Let candy cool and break into small pieces. |
