Turtle Brownies
One 14 ounce package of caramels 2/3 cup of evaporated milk 1 box German chocolate cake mix 3/4 cup of softened margarine 1 cup of nuts 12 ounces of chocolate pieces |

Combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk on top of double boiler. Stir mixture until melted. Combine cake mix remaining milk and softened margarine. Blend until mixture holds together. Stir in nuts. Press 1/2 of cake mixture in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan and bake for 6 minutes at 350ºF. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate pieces on top. Pour melted caramel evenly on top. Crumble remaining mix over caramels. Bake at 350ºF. for 15-20 minutes. Cool slightly. |
