4 eggs 1 1/2 cup of flour 2 teaspoons of vanilla 1 cup of nuts, optional 1 cup of butter or margarine 2 cups of sugar 4 tablespoons of cocoa
Melt butter and cocoa, cool slightly. Stir in sugar, then eggs. Mix in balance of ingredients. Pour into well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350ºF. for 30-35 minutes. Do not over-bake. Remove from oven when a little dough still sticks to a toothpick. When cool, frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
