| AUSTRIAN CREAM CHEESE BARS
Crust
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
2/3 cup of soft margarine
Topping
3/4 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of flour
2 eggs
1 cup of chocolate chips |

Glaze
1 cup of chocolate chips
3/4 cups of pecans or walnuts, toasted
Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Combine all of the crust ingredients. Beat until blended. Bake at 350ºF. for 12 minutes in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, flour and eggs until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour over crust. Bake 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips immediately return to oven to melt. Spread/sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour and store in refrigerator. |
