| Easter Filled Pie
1/2 pound of prosciutti
1 stick Abruzzese sausage
1 pound of basket cheese
Black pepper (opt.)
1 pound of Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 stick pepperoni
1/2 pound of boiled ham
1/2 cup of grated Italian cheese
6 eggs or more
1 pound of Ricotta cheese
Set aside 2 tablespoons egg to brush on top. |

CRUST: 2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 or 2 eggs
1/2 cup of water
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1/3 cup of oil
Mix dry ingredients and make a well. Add oil, water and eggs. Spread crust in 13"x9" pan reserving enough for top. Mix filling ingredients and put into pan. Top with crust and brush with beaten egg. Bake at 375ºF. for 45 to 50 minutes then 350ºF. for 45 to 50 minutes. |
